Our Adoption Timeline
- 11/2006 -- Began researching adoption
- 1/2/2007 -- Attended local adoption agency's info. session
- 2/2/2007 -- Heard that we could adopt from Haiti. Decided to move forward. Sent in application to the agency to start with Home Study
- 3/7/2007 -- Met with social worker. Began gathering papers, etc. for the dossier.
- 5/16/2007 -- Home Study Completed
- 6/15/2007 -- Dossier sent to Haiti.
- 10/26/2007 -- Received referral. Its a boy!
- 10/2007 -- Entered IBESR (#16,053)
- 5/09/2009 -- Out of IBESR
- 5/18/2009 - Out of Parquet
- 6/19/2009 - Out of Legalization (David is legally ours according to Haitian govt)
- 10/30/2009 - Exit MOI (David has Haitian passport)
- 11/12/2009 - Visa Appointment at US Embassy
- 11/13/2009 - U.S. Visa printed and in David's passport
- 11/14/2009 -- Travel to bring David home!
